The winds of change...

So many many developments have occurred since the last time we have spoken. Allow me to run through a few of them. We completed the move into our new apartment, a whole 5 minutes away from our old place! The layout is perfect and the view is amazing, but most of all there is light!! From sunrise to sunset, we have no need for artificial man made light. So needless to say we are both happy and loving life day in and day out.
As for our sweet boy (Billy) he is well adjusted and loves how he does not have to go far to know where we are in the house. He has not "marked" any territory inside the house and has grown with a very disciplined bowel system. There are many days that you can catch him laying on our balcony or even in the living room on the carpet "sun bathing". I know it sounds ridiculous but it is the true meaning of the work for this dog. Moving on!
Well the day came, we ordered and soon there after received our new camera equipment!!!! The Canon 5D and a few critical lenses. Man are we stoked, and if you at all know my wife and I you know that we have been shooting up a storm. Gaining familiarity with your equipment is crucial and fun at the same time, so we have been ceasing the days of clear visibility and abundant sunlight with or finger on the shutter button ready and willing to capture everything! So now that we have the means all that is left is placing all the rest of the pieces for our business to flourish like flowers in the springtime. So stand by for those developments soon to come.
I think that is about it for now, just living life happy and free. In love day after day taking advantage of the time and counting our blessings, cause boy-o-boy do we know we are blessed.
God Bless and thank you for stopping by.

Think outside the box...

Well it is official, we are moving! The apartment that we are in is great and the landlord is the best a couple of tenants could ask for, but there is one major thing lacking...

NATURAL LIGHT! Seeing how my wife and I are big lovers of natural light ad that is what we strive to use with our photography, it is important in everyday life and in our home dwelling.

Not to mention we are currently in a two story townhouse style place, that has alot of unused space and is a hassle to make the trek up and down just to do simple tasks. Once you are upstairs you better have a snack and a change of clothes cause you will be up there for a while. The new residence is at Santa Fe Apartments off La Costa, about 5 minutes up the road and is one story with a balcony that over looks the city of Carlsbad and has an ocean view to boot! not too bad for $100 more a month.

Just got back from Home Depot and bought a truck load of boxes and tape, and today we start the process...

Billy is well........Billy.

Thanks for stopping by and talk at you soon!

A penny saved is a penny earned...

Now this to others might seem to be a little on the ridiculous side...

But i feel that it is a must to address it and rant a little about the issue, being this;

Why in the name of everything holy does Papa John's pizza offer banana peppers/ yellow peppers/ whatever you call them in your own mind on the side of your delicious pizza order, but do not offer them as toppings to place on top of your steaming pie of goodness???

And it might just be the one specific person that i talked to that happened to be the biggest moron in the world but i asked him, " excuse me kind sir, but do you guys have yellow peppers as a topping option?" He replied sternly and post haste with. "no we do not even carry those in the store!"

WOW... is all i have to say to that...WOW

But as i would say you just can not win them all, you can win a few but just not them all.

And as my favorite actor in the whole world once said and it is basically the only great quote he has... besides a few in Jerry Maguire... " sometimes you have to just say, what the F*$K!"

A rolling stone gathers no moss...

Well first and foremost, I am sorry that it has been so long between posts. A lot has happened and I must say that it all has been great things.

Moved the office out of the second bedroom upstairs to the garage officially and Molly got all her papers organized and situated in the huge wooden cabinets that I built for her. it is good to feel like you have an office and files, with binders and organization... it sucks to feel like you are living out of boxes.

So that was a great huge step that we took today, on the downside went to Home Depot and bought a second wooden rod to across the garage side to side to hang a curtain on for privacy only to find out that the measurements were wrong... again.

But I have a solution and I will make it work and happen.

So we have been busy little bees and still getting our life situated and the way that we like it.

The day that you stop working and learning is the day that you die.

Check back soon, Keep it real.

Another day, Another dollar...

Some days you wake up and look around and think about the grim facts that it is 5am, you are awake, the sun is not even up yet and that you have to leave your comfort zone to make money.

man-o-man do i hate those moments!

the moments when i look over and there is my bride sleping gently and gracfully, facemask and all. He chest with the slow rise and fall with every breath, and the very warm touch of her skin that has been incubated by a pillow all night. That is the thing that i hate leaving, but i know it makes her happy to have a man that is accomplished and happy and important to the people around him in his job.

so i flip around and roll ever so not gracefully off the bed and stuble to get my bearings.

it is still dark and my eyes have started to adjust but not quite there just yet.

make my way quietly and slowly out of the room into the second bathroom, so my shaving and brushing of teeth do not wake sleeping beauty.

finally now i am ready. clothes are on and my mind is ready, my lunch is downstairs and all i need is one more thing and it is a go...

a kiss for the miss. one for now. one for later. and one just cause i want to.

"thank you for going to work hunny" she whispers into my ear, all i can think is..."i would move the rockies for you, or even give you the worlds every last diamond if i could all you would have to do is ask. as long as it would make you happy, i will do it."

another day, another dollar another chance to realize what is important to me in my life and worth working hard for...

To kick things off!

First ever blog on the new web page... this is exciting to say the least. I have no idea what I am going to post on here or what kind of a fool I will make of myself. None the less it will all be in good fun and good spirits, so enjoy and feel free to comment.

Life is one big story full of chapters and characters. in some ways it is already written for you, by the big guy upstairs. If you believe what I believe and share that common faith with me then you know what I mean. If not, no worries to each his/her own and not everyone will be just like you.

I am an Operations Specialist in the US Coast Guard and just recently made Petty Officer Second Class, more money to support the wife with and a little more responsibility to boot... but bring it on! Currently stationed in the wonderful sunny San Diego Bay, with a townhouse that we rent in Carlsbad, CA. It is our life and it is practically perfect in every way (Mary Poppins reference) Recently my bride and I added a member to our small and newly formed family, his name is Billy and he is a Maltese born on April 21st this year... he has a lot of spunk, but we love him.

My bride is Molly Marie Williams, born June 16th 1987 and is an amazing shot with a camera! Her blog is Mollywilliamsphotography.blogspot.com

She is everything that I could ever want, need or dream of in a woman and wife. The perfect homemaker and supporter of her man. We have been through the ups and the downs, had our fair share of fights and disagreements, with plenty more to come in our lifetime I am sure. No matter what through thick and thin she has been my rock, a soft place to land when things got shaky or beyond stressful. She told me a quote once that I have taken to heart and will preach to this day and for the rest of my days, God willing... "Behind every great man, there is a great woman"

Baby girl I love you more than words will ever be able to express and you mean the world to me, that will never waiver, dull or die for as long as we both shall live and more. You are my ace and my queen the one thing in my life that I could not and will not ever be able to do without, thank you for loving me always and forever.
